February 6, 2025 – Newmark Earns Dismissal Of DUI Charges

Attorney Newmark’s client was charged with DUI alleging his client was under the influence of a controlled substance. Newmark’s client had a prescription, but the state persisted that she was impaired by the use of the substance. Newmark hired an expert witness who was prepared to testify that the levels in his client’s blood sample were consistent with the prescribed dose and the client was not under the influence. On the eve of trial, the State dismissed all charges.
